What a generous gift this compilation is! A great introduction for those not already familiar with Thompson’s distinctly textured mystical style. And a wonderful retrospective for those of us who’ve been following his music for a while. Given Thompson’s huge discography and propensity for longform works, this is an especially nice collection of soothing, contemplative and accessible music.
